analysis phase is to understand the truth and the need for new systems and develop a system that accommodate those needs, or decide that the actual development of the new system is not required. Determination of
system requirements is the most crucial step in the
SDLC phases.
System requirements can be defined as follows:
- Statements about what should be done by the system.
- Statements about the characteristics of a must-have system.
