Types Of Information Systems

Computer Based Information Systems (CBIS) is usually divided into several types of applications, namely:
  1. Transaction Processing System (TPS)
  2. Management Information System (MIS)
  3. Decision Support System (DSS)
  4. Expert System (ES) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
